Рекорд-лейблы усиленно готовились к 150-летию Дебюсси - уже навыпускали юбилейных бокс-сетов. В основном компиляции старых проверенных записей. Но некоторые не ищут лёгких путей - записывают всё с нуля, да ещё и сверх плана. Обычно весь оркестровый Дебюсси легко умещается на 4х дисках, здесь же дотянули до 9ти! Где ещё можно услышать всю "Бергамасскую сюиту", а не только один 'Лунный свет', или все 24 прелюдии в оркестровой версии. Пир духа! Конечно - оригинальные вещи важнее, и честно говоря, о дирижёре Юне Меркле мало что известно, но в интервью в буклете он признаётся, что Дебюсси - на вершине его приоритетов. В качестве дежурного бонуса - записи юбилейных радиопремьер всяких неожиданных вещей, вроде новых оркестровок "Забытых образов" , "Детского уголка", потерянного скрипичного Ноктюрна, Прелюдий, 'Отражений в воде', Сюиты для виолончели с оркестром по мотивам разных сочинений Дебюсси и т.п.
